I’m Michela, but as an artist, I go by the name KikaG - a sweet nickname given to me by my younger sisters when we were children. For me, this name embodies intimacy, personal growth, and the creative journey I’ve undertaken

My artistic technique combines watercolor and colored pencils, a style I’ve developed to merge the fluid spontaneity of traditional watercolors with the vivid brightness and tactile texture of colored pencils. By integrating clean geometric lines and a refined graphic style, I bring a unique and contemporary perspective to this timeless art form.

Equally important to my work is the thoughtful choice of printing materials. After extensive research, I’ve selected premium papers and techniques to ensure that each piece feels as authentic and meticulously crafted as a hand-painted artwork.

Beyond being an artist, I am also a professional optics engineer and designer. This technical background has honed my sensitivity to light, shadow, and the interplay between them. It has also inspired a deep appreciation for clean geometric lines and harmonious compositions, which often find their way into my creations.
